Minimum Order Quantities:
The minimum order quantity on most scale labels is 3 cases however. this quantity will depend on the label type, and quantities per roll. Custom merchandising labels have a minimum order quantity of 500 per depending on size, colors and content.

PMS Inks:
Pantone Matching System (PMS) color numbers should be specified with each new order. Please refer to the coated section of the PMS guide when providing color numbers. There will be a $15.00 charge for each PMS color used. Black is free. If you do not have access to a Pantone Color Chart, ScaleLabels.com can match your color samples (as close as possible).

Printing Plates:
There is a one plate charge for custom print labels. Plate charges range from $30 to $75 per print color.
Your plates are then stored with us for use on reorders.

ScaleLabels.com requires all customer supplied artwork to be prepared as follows:

Artwork for Spot Color printing (Pantone Colors):

1). ILLUSTRATOR (Vector Art - CREATED in Illustrator Version 6.0 or Higher
     Artwork to be provided in PMS Colors
     Embedded/Placed images must be a minimum of 1016dpi
     Convert all text/fonts to outlines (or provide required fonts with art)
     Save file as an ai file

Artwork for 4 Color Process printing (CMYK)

2). PHOTOSHOP
     Miniumum 1016 dpi
     Layered file
     Save file as a layered psd file

** NOTE: 4 Color Process (CMYK Files have different pricing than spot PMS labels. Call for pricing

** ARTWORK FILES MUST BE SET UP EXACTLY HOW IT WILL PRINT ON THE LABEL - "WYSIWYG" - What You See Is What you get on your printed label. So please keep this in mind when setting up your own artwork. We do not submit final proofs for your approval, when you provide the artwork. We will be printing EXACTLY what you send us.

We have talented individuals in our art department that can create a logo or label for you. Scale labels have print fields that are not always used in all applications, other customers ask for custom print fields, some remove the print fields all together. Logos cannot be placed in certain areas and there should be not pre-printed content and any area they scale will be printing. We will be happy to complete the artwork to meet your specifications. All artwork requiring changes or creation in our art department will be billed an hourly rate of $100.00 per hour. If your have questions about preparing your files, please contact us before sending them. Approval of any artwork created by our art department must be approved before printing. A Digital PDF File will be sent for your approval.

Once Custom Orders are processed and printed, ScaleLabels.com cannot offer credits and/or returns.
There will be no exceptions.
